Blue, Silver, and Sun-Smart
All athletes U6–U17 must wear full club uniform at every Plympton Flyers Sunday meet and at all Little Athletics SA events.
The uniform is a blue polo top with silver side panels and the club logo on the back, paired with navy athletics shorts, two-way stretch shorts, or sports briefs.
Plympton Flyers LAC practises a sun-smart policy — we encourage all children to wear hats and sunscreen at every Sunday meet.
What to Wear
Athletes reporting to Little Athletics SA events without correct uniform won’t be permitted to compete. Full uniform (including shoes) must also be worn for all medal presentations.
The current season’s age group and registration number patches must be securely attached, with sponsor logos and numbers clearly visible. No other badges allowed.
Navy, black, or white long-sleeve t-shirts may be worn underneath.
Navy shorts, sports briefs, or two-way stretch above-the-knee shorts (bike shorts or skins).
A second pair of shorts may be worn underneath, provided they are plain and either navy or black.
Well-fitting running shoes with flexible soles, a firm supporting heel, and laced so the foot can’t shift inside the shoe. Suitable for all events.
Cross country only: 3/4 or full-length tights/leggings may be worn under club shorts. Tights must be plain and either navy or black.
Singlets & Crop Tops
Athletes U12–U17 may also wear an approved club singlet or crop top in addition to the standard polo top. Three options to choose from.
Classic cut with full shoulder coverage. Available in club colours.
Open-back cut for greater shoulder mobility on the track and in the field.
Athletic-cut crop top in club colours. Pricing available at the registration desk.
Available at the Registration Desk
