Welcome to Plympton Flyers Little Athletics
Plympton Flyers run a Sunday morning athletics program at Hamilton Secondary College from October through March.
We encourage children aged from U/6 to U/17 to strive to achieve their best in the full range of track and field athletic events.
Ages 3 & 4 are also catered for in our fun games and skills-based Tiny Tots program.
2025/26 Season registration is open!
The 2025/26 season starts on Sunday, October 12th 2025, @ 9 am.

Athletes may ‘Come and Try’ with a maximum of two Come and Try attendances before deciding to register for the season.

🏃♀️✨ Plympton Flyers Little Athletics – Tuesday Night Training – U9+! ✨🏃♂️ Tuesday nights are next-level at Plympton Flyers! 🚀 Coach Scott will help our athletes fly higher or float like a butterfly with High Jump or Hurdles (depending on how hot it is), Coach Steve will build power and confidence in Discus, Coach Jack is running an EPIC Triple Jump session for U11+, and Coach Samantha will (pun intended 😄) run two sessions for 800m runners and sprinters, packed with fun, tricky drills to sharpen sprint coordination and technique. It’s all about skills, confidence and helping little athletes reach their full potential — all while having a blast with great coaches and friends 💙 Perfect for parents who want more than just laps around the track for their little athletes! 📍 See you Tuesday night, Flyers – Bring plenty of cold water!

Coach Jack – Long Jump 🦘 Coach Steve – Shot Put 💥 Coach Scott – U11+ Javelin 🎯 ⭐ Special Thursday Bonus Session Coach Samantha will be running a specialised 400m sprint training session: 📅 Thursday ⏰ 5:00 – 6:00 pm 🔥 Focus: Long speed endurance This session is ideal for athletes looking to sharpen their 400m performance or to add speed and strength to their events.
