Skill Development
for Every Athlete

Plympton Flyers has a great team of coaches supporting athletes through regular midweek training sessions. We're committed to advancing each athlete's development through age-appropriate techniques and programs that bring out their potential.

Training runs throughout the summer season — mid-October to mid-March — and is included in your membership at no extra cost.

Choose Your Training Day

Athletes can attend our Tuesday session at home, or take up the additional Wednesday option hosted by Coastal Districts. Both run through the summer season.

All Plympton Flyers coaches are accredited through Athletics Australia, or are experienced athletes in the process of obtaining accreditation. Every member of our coaching team holds a current Working with Children Check.

Important Notes for Parents

A few essentials to know before your athlete attends a training session.

01
Parent Supervision (Under 16s)
A parent or carer must be present at the ground at all times for athletes aged under 16. Athletes found unsupervised will be unable to participate, and a parent or carer will be called to collect them.
02
School & Public Holidays
No training is held during school holidays or on public holidays unless otherwise communicated. We'll let families know via Facebook and email if any session goes ahead during these breaks.
03
What to Wear
Comfortable active clothing and runners — no club uniform required for training. Athletes should also bring a water bottle.
